Cách Học Bài Mẫu IELTS WRITING BAND 8+
- Bước 1: đọc kỹ đề bài, đảm bảo hiểu được vấn đề chính của đề bài là gì, sau đó họ hỏi mình cái gì
- Bước 2: đọc qua bài mẫu để hiểu, từ nào không biết tra từ điển, đảm bảo các bạn phải hiểu 100% tác giả viết cái gì.
- Bước 3: Bước quan trọng nhất, học theo 4 tiêu chí chấm điểm IELTS WRITING TASK 2
+ Về task achievement: đảm bảo trả lời đúng trọng tâm câu hỏi. Đây là tiêu chí quan trọng nhất, vì nếu các bạn lạc đề thì có viết tốt cỡ nào, từ vựng ok thì điểm không qua nổi 6 đâu. Vì vậy khi đọc bài mẫu cần để ý cẩn thận cách tác giả trả lời các yêu cầu của đề bài để học theo.
+ Về coherence and cohesion: Đọc kỷ xem tác giả lập luận như thế nào, cách liên kết các câu với nhau ra sao. Ví dụ, câu thứ 2 sau câu TOPIC SENTENCE liên quan gì đến câu trước đó, tương tự câu thứ 3 có liên quan gì đến câu thứ 2 hay không (mối quan hệ nhân quả hay giải thích làm rõ). Tương tự các câu 4,5 liên kết như thế nào với câu TOPIC SENTENCE, và nó liên quan với nhau như thế nào. Chú ý cách tác giả sử dụng các từ LINKING WORDs.
+ Về lexical resource: Đây là cách dễ học nhất vì bạn chỉ cần tập trung vào các từ và cụm từ liên quan đến chủ đề. Mình sẽ hướng dẫn cụ thể cách chọn từ vựng để học bên dưới.
+ Về grammatical range and accuracy: Cái này khá khó, nhưng nếu mình biết cách thì vẫn có thể đạt điểm cao về ngữ pháp. NHỚ ‘ Không cần viết phức tạp và dài thì mới đạt điểm cao về ngữ pháp’. Mình sẽ hướng dẫn theo bài mẫu bên dưới.

In my opinion, men and women should have the same educational opportunities. However, I do not agree with the idea of accepting equal proportions of each gender in every university subject.
Having the same number of men and women on all degree courses is simply unrealistic. Student numbers on any course depend on the applications that the institution receives. If a university decided to fill courses with equal numbers of males and females, it would need enough applicants of each gender. In reality, many courses are more popular with one gender than the other, and it would not be practical to aim for equal proportions. For example, nursing courses tend to attract more female applicants, and it would be difficult to fill these courses if fifty per cent of the places needed to go to males.
Apart from the practical concerns expressed above, I also believe that it would be unfair to base admission to university courses on gender. Universities should continue to select the best candidates for each course according to their qualifications. In this way, both men and women have the same opportunities, and applicants know that they will be successful if they work hard to achieve good grades at school. If a female student is the best candidate for a place on a course, it would be wrong to reject her in favour of a male student with lower grades or fewer qualifications.
In conclusion, the selection of university students should be based on merit, and it would be both impractical and unfair to change to a selection procedure based on gender.

GRAMMAR
Để đạt điểm cao về ngữ pháp các bạn cần viết được ít nhất 8 kiểu câu khác nhau. Về cơ bản câu nào thì cũng có S + V + O, hay mệnh đề chính phụ…Dưới đây từ bài mẫu trên mình sẽ chỉ ra tác giả sử dụng mấy kiểu câu.
- Câu đơn: 2 câu đầu tiên của phần Introduction
- Câu có chủ ngữ dài, bắt đầu bằng động từ thêm ING hay To

- Câu có mệnh đề quan hệ (that, which, who, whose or whom)
Ex: Student numbers on any course depend on the applications that the institution receives
- Sử dụng IF (nếu có thể luôn sử dụng loại câu có IF)

- Câu ghép ( Có and, but, while, when, although, because, despite….)
