Câu trả lời mẫu cho chủ đề Time Management (Sample Answer)

Dưới đây là hai cách trả lời mẫu mà bạn có thể tham khảo cho Topic: Time Management.

1. How do you plan your time in a day?

Sample 1: I don’t think my time management method is anything out of this world. I usually spend a good 15 minutes every evening, typically right before bed, on listing out the tasks I must perform the next day. This is a habit which I have picked up over the years, and I think it’s a simple yet wonderful practice because it really gives me peace of mind and a sense of control, which also increases my sleep quality.

  • out of this world = impressive
  • pick up a habit: hình thành thói quen
  • peace of mind: sự yên tâm

Sample 2: Well, since I usually have to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities at once, it would be an absolute chaos if I don’t plan my day ahead. Yeah, so before diving into my work, I usually sit down and brainstorm a quick to-do list so that I could prioritize important tasks and put other less urgent ones on hold if possible. This actually has helped me a lot in getting work done more effectively.

  • Juggle (v) tung hứng
  • Chaos (n) hỗn loạn
  • Get work done (v) hoàn thành công việc

2. Is it easy to manage time for you?

Sample 1: I would say so. Working as a full-time teacher, I realized that time management is a skill that I must hone elentlessly in order to deliver effective lessons within the time limit. It is now one of my stronger suits at work. But of course, time management was never an innate gift for me. I once was a heavy procrastinator and had to put enormous effort into transforming myself into a person with a better work attitude.

  • hone (v): mài giũa
  • stronger suits: thế mạnh
  • innate (adj): bẩm sinh
  • procrastinator (n): người chây ì

Sample 2: I wouldn’t say so because my workload is quite daunting and I’m a chronic procrastinator. However, I’m trying to work on my time management skill by implementing various techniques such as time blocking and writing to-do lists, which really help me to preserve sanity and decrease stress in both my work and personal lives.

  • Daunting (adj) đáng sợ
  • Chronic (adj) mãn tính
  • Procrastinator (n) người hay trì hoãn
  • Sanity (n) sự tỉnh táo

3. When do you find it hard to allocate time?

Sample 1: Probably whenever I’m drowning in stress. I tend to fall into downward spirals when I have too many tasks at hand with only a short amount of time. During these times, planning in general and time management in particular are nothing but nuisances for me. Of course I still have to do them, but the feelings of pleasure and satisfaction are definitely not there.

  • downward spirals: vòng xoáy đi xuống
  • nuisances (n): sự phiền toái

Sample 2: Probably when I’m inundated with a huge number of students’ essays to mark, which takes up a sizeable portion of my time. That’s when I feel a little bit overwhelmed and even stressed out trying to keep track of everything on my plate.

  • Inundated with (adj) bận ngập đầu
  • Sizeable (adj) khá lớn

4. Do you like being busy?

Sample 1: I would love to say yes but unfortunately, my laid-back nature would strongly disagree. You know, I am just not the kind of person who would freak out when there is no work to do. The only time I feel comfortable being fully occupied is when I read books because to me, one can never have too many books to read!

  • laid-back: thong dong
  • occupied (adj): bận

Sample 2: I’d rather be productive and efficient not hectic and burnt out. Even though I want to give the best performance at work, I also want to prioritize things outside of work that are important to my overall well-being — like refueling with a healthy lunch, reenergizing with a 30-minute jog, or simply blocking off time each afternoon for a family gathering.

  • Burnt out (adj) kiệt sức
  • Well-being (n) sức khỏe
